The first left-hand-drive examples will reach European showrooms on 27 March and the British model set to arrive in July. The SLS is assembled by hand at the Mercedes’ Sindelfingen production facilities. Aluminum chassis is built by Magna in Graz, where the Aston Martin Rapide is also under construction, and hand-built V8 engine derived from AMG in Affalterbach. Power comes from 6.2 liter V8 engine, which helps SLS get from 0-62mph in 3.8sec and go to to achieve a top speed of 200mph. Produces 563bhp and 479 pounds ft and is set to cost around £ 155.0.
