Citroen also launch a compact SUV based on Mitsubishi platform ASX ie, 2012 Citroen C4 Aircross, and will be sold in the first half of 2012. Citroen C4 Aircross will be equipped with 18-inch wheels and will be offered either as 2WD and 4WD.

Citroen C4 Aircross will be equipped with diesel engines, HDi 110 and HDi 150, with a 1.6 liter unit developing 110 PS (82 kW / 109 hp) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft), and 1.8-liter unit producing 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 300 Nm (221 ??lb-ft) torque, respectively. Both diesel engines are offered with six-speed manual gearbox as standard. On the petrol side, there is a 1.6i with 115 (85 kW / 114 hp) PS 152 Nm (112 lb-ft) of torque, which comes with a manual five-speed, and the 2.0i 150 which will be sold only in markets outside Europe.
