In 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, Nissan and Nismo have revealed a concept car is the 2012 Nissan Micra March Nismo Concept. Nissan Micra March Nismo Concept marks the third draft was released from Nismo, after following the Nismo Juke concept and Nismo Leaf Concepts. Nismo uses a five-door version of the Nissan Micra as a basis to develop a complete body kit consisting of a modified front grille incorporated into the newly designed front bumper with spoiler separate, matching side skirts, roof spoiler, new rear bumper with diffuser and finally, a different exterior mirrors.

Known as the Nissan March in Asia and Latin America, adding Nismo body kit developed race that includes a front bumper fascia, side skirts, roof spoiler and rear bumper fascia with diffuser. The exterior also receives a redesigned grille side mirrors and a Nismo signature pearl white exterior with red highlights as shown on the Concept Nismo Juke. The interior is updated with the seats and steering wheel Nismo designed. Performance modifications including lowered sport suspension and larger diameter wheels along with a custom exhaust system.
