At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, Porsche will introduce the third generation of the Boxster series in 1996 since the birth of the 2013 Porsche Boxster S. The latest version of the two-seater model introduces an all-new lightweight body, upgraded flat-six engine with direct gasoline injection, chassis completely revised and in true Porsche fashion, styling evolution, and 15 percent more fuel-efficient engines. Porsche Boxster S received a revamped styling with short overhangs, the glass is significantly shifted to the front, and a flat line silhouette edgier characters.

The new Porsche Boxster S uses a new lightweight body with a longer wheelbase, wider track and larger wheels. Combined with its mid-engine layout, enhanced driving dynamics even further than the current generation 987. First of all, the new Porsche Boxster S sports a shorter front and rear overhangs along with the glass is significantly shifted to the front and the overall silhouette of flat front end borrows some design cues from the 918 Spyder concept is also leading to the production.
