In 2012 Texas Mile event in Beeville high speed, twin turbo Ford GT that has been refurbished by Hennessey Performance has set a world record of 257.7 mph standing mile (414 km / h). McLaren MP4-12C in the standard state already has in abundance of power from the engine mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that is rated at 600 PS (592 HP) and 600Nm (442.5 pounds-ft).
